Laney Schuman DMD
Dr. Laney Schuman has been providing outstanding dental care since 1994, after earning her Doctorate from the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. She holds memberships in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Association of General Dentistry, International Association of Orthodontics and the Illinois State Dental Society. Dr. Schuman believes that continuing education is an important part of her work.
Dr. Schuman also trains students to be Dental Assistants at Dental Careers of Southern Illinois, Inc. It is a 10 week program and full of hands on training in the actual dental office. Dr. Schuman and her husband, Marshall, have been married for five years and have two cats. In February of 2009 they had a son, Austin. Now Dr. Schuman really has no spare time for crocheting, needlepoint etc..., but wouldnt change that for an instant!
Stacy Moody DMD
Dr. Stacy Moody is a graduate of Edwardsville High School, Baylor University, and Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. She earned her doctorate of dental medicine degree from SIUE in 2004. Since then she has worked in private practice and served for eight years in the Illinois and Alaska National Guards where she provided dental treatment to soldiers as well as Native Alaskans. She is also part-time faculty at Lewis and Clark Community College School of Dental Hygiene.
Dr. Moody and her husband, Doug, reside in Edwardsville and have two daughters, Emily and Elliana. In her spare time, Dr. Moody enjoys reading, swimming, bicycling on area trails, shopping, cooking, dining out with friends at various restaurants, teaching preschool Sunday school at her church, and spending time with her family.
